The AIWO I6 is a lower-end laptop for people on a budget
that still want reasonable performance it's currently on sale for just 300$
dollars so we decided to check it out and see if it's worth the money, inside
the box it's pretty simple packaging we get the instruction manual ,the
charging cable and the laptop itself which is sufficiently protected against
damage in transit .
So first of all we'll go over the specs we've got a 15.6
inch 1920 by 1080 Full HD display we've got the Intel Apollo Lake j-3 455 quad
core CPU with Intel HD graphics 500 ,it comes with Windows 10 English version
pre-installed and we get eight gigs of DDR for RAM along with a 256 gig SSD for
storage and for anyone thinking about changing the RAM there is only one RAM
slot in there but realistically eight gigs is enough we've got Bluetooth 4 it
supports both 2.4 and 5 gigahertz Wi-Fi.
And it also has a naught point three megapixel selfie camera on the front of the display in terms of the ports on the left hand side we've got the power input a USB 3 port along with a mini
HDMI on the right side we 've got the micro SD slot , three and a half mil
audio jack , 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port , the battery inside is a 4858
milliamp hour ,battery that lasts around five to six hours of use and 48 hours
in standby .
The overall design. I would say is quite nice for a more budget laptop it's
quite a slim design and I feel it is well built in the silver color does look
nice as well. the keyboard is a good size and the trackpad is more than big enough
for my needs, the display is good and has a nice overall picture it does have
enough brightness of course it's not as good as your higher-end laptops but it's
still perfectly acceptable.
A lot of the cheaper laptops also can come with chinese windows which can be very frustrating but this comes pre-installed with a Ning Windows 10 ,the specs are more than capable for a bit of surfing the web or working and I 've been using it for video editing on the go ,the laptop boots up fairly quickly and we get to the windows login screen in about 10 seconds and then straight into Windows after the login, the SSD has a 480 mega second read speed and 250 write and it really does make things run nice and smoothly.

When it comes to gaming I 've tested this out and you can 't
play some simple games but of course having onboard graphics instead of a
dedicated GPU I mean this cannot really be used as a gaming laptop ,I found lots
of 2d games or older games work but even playing something like Counter Strike
global Offensive it just wasn't able to play it without lag .
The trackpad is smooth and responsive and although I prefer to use a mouse normally I 've got no
problems using this when I need to , the built-in camera makes it great for
skyping although being only not 0.3 megapixels it really isn't the best quality
video or picture as you can see from the photos I 've taken with it here ↓ .
Overall though for those of you who are after a good budget laptop for working
surfing the web or even just running some of your applications on the go this
isn't bad at all , we get decent hardware for the price and it's perfectly
capable for all normal tasks ,and for those who do want gaming of course you can
have to spend quite a bit more than $300 .
