Well ,a Range Extender, WiFi Booster or WiFi Extender is a device that repeats the wireless signal from your router to expand its coverage. It functions as a bridge, capturing the WiFi from your router and rebroadcasting it to areas where the WiFi is weak or nonexistent, improving the performance of your home Wifi.
I recently moved to a larger apartment, from my room located a floor above the router located where it sees the most use, I got very low signal strength, The KR43ED was very easy to set up, upon testing in my room that used to receive poor signal from my old router, the signal strength is much stronger and much faster than before, this router is excellent ; especially at this price point.
This router does everything you could want, the range is pretty good, it covers my whole condo and I even get a decent signal underneath in the garage, I've been using it for a few months and haven't had to reboot it like other routers I've used.
